Rachel London – Marquee

New Single MARQUEE on iTunes and in national/international commercial!

Announced some exciting news last week and wanted to share again here in case you missed it! As you may have seen, I just released a new song “Marquee,” produced by and co-written with Wendy Starland (who has worked with artists like Lady Gaga & Gavin DeGraw) & Mike Gonsolin (who has worked with artists like Snoop Dogg & Billy Ray Cyrus) in conjunction with a national/international commercial placement! Marquee will be heard all over the world as the sound of Jerome Alexander’s “Hot Stuff – Go Pop” compacts thanks to Wendi Weiss Cooper-Maronati!!! As an artist, the biggest challenge is to find ways to SHARE my music and I am SO excited that this opportunity affords me just that! I’ll keep you posted as soon as the music video for MARQUEE is live! For now, here’s the link to the song on iTunes! Enjoy!

Show Tomorrow Night With Mark Hudson

It’s always a little surreal to be in the same room working musically with someone as fiercely talented, passionate and full of musical life & history as Mark Hudson. Our first professional experience together was co-writing my latest track and from there I’ve been fortunate enough to have him as a friend and mentor. I love hearing his wild first hand stories about Steven Tyler, Ozzy, The Beatles, Alanis (and on and on). Plus, it’s never a dull moment as he pumps up everyone around him with humorous wisdom and inspiration. A true pleasure to be around.

When asked to do a show with Mark, of course I said YES! Then he sent me the set list and I had a week to learn 60+ songs. Holy moly mother of sweet baby Jesus. That’s a lot of material to learn in a week!!! Four days to work with the material on my own and two days of intense rehearsals. The private show to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of Joe’s Stone Crab for the “Who’s Who” of Miami will be a lot of fun and I’m excited to rock and roll with “Uncle Marko” and the ridiculously talented musicians I’ll have the pleasure of sharing the stage with.
